"Half-Life is a 1998 first-person shooter (FPS) game developed by Valve Corporation and published by Sierra Studios for Windows. It was Valve's debut product and the first game in the Half-Life series. The player controls Gordon Freeman, a theoretical physicist who must escape from the Black Mesa Research Facility after it is overrun by aliens following a disastrous scientific experiment. Its gameplay consists of combat, exploration and puzzles."

Half-Life is my favorite videogame of all time, it's atmosphere, story, and playstyle are genuinely phenomenal. I wish I could've played it back when it came out, it's just that  good. I love the way that Valve pushed the FPS genre to it's absolute limit and made a revolutionary game. While some people may not like it's outdated, low-poly aesthetic, I think it's a great game to play if you're a fan of the FPS genre. It's such a fun mix of story and action, I could repeat what a million people have said before about this game, but I honestly think you should just... PLAY IT! it's so fucking good, AUIGHH!!!!!!! it is genuinely so good that i can't even find ways to describe WHY i like it. it's like eating a really good dinner and cake. it's simply amazing.

Also, the youtube series "Half Life: VR But the AI is Self Aware" is an amazingly crafted series, it's such a fun watch and the way that the RTV crew mix comedy with some like. serious moments is really cool. It's what got me into Half Life originally.
